Response to The American Crisis

Thoma Paine made a very strong arguement! He knew that people were suffering and he wants that to change. He believes God thinks that Amecia is the best country and Paine believes by telling people this they could help by making America a better country. People could stop the suffering and treat everyone equal whether they were poor or a different color they are still people working hard trying to make a good life fot themselves or their family. "There are persons too who see not the full extent of the evil which threatens, they solace themselves with hopes that the enemy, if they succeed, will ne merciful." (53) Some people aren"t looking around them to see that there are people suffereing, human neings just like them. The people suffering may not be rich or white but there is something we can all do to help them and when doing that we become a stronger and better country when we come together. Paine also believes that war isn't always the answer it is still murder no matter which country a person is from because they are a human being. "Not all the treasure of the world, so far as i believe, could have induced me to support an offensive war, for i think it murder." (53)
